Job Overview

This position provides leadership, direction, and coordination of team members in maintenance with responsibilities for safety, quality, and project management. This role actively participates and supports a work environment focused on preventive maintenance and timely project support. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned or reassigned at anytime

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train or facilitate the training of new employees in all aspects of their job function
  • Administer policies and procedures
  • Liaison between cross-functional and supporting teams and team members
  • Communicate and support strict adherence to quality standards
  • Ensure quality goals and objectives are met on a daily basis

    • Define Quality Goals, and method of measurement, within Maintenance
    • Support the Quality Goals of Production
  • Ensure efficient materials management
  • Monitor unnecessary waste and correct when necessary
  • Monitor and improve the management of tools, equipment and production processes.
  • Is an active leader and coach to team members by focusing on an environment for them in which to be successful
  • Passionate about supporting safety.
  • Ability to identify root cause, implement corrective action where gaps to the goals exist - strong problem solving skills
  • Responsible for supporting new and current team member activities - performance, management, transfers, promotions and disciplinary processes
  • Schedule work assignment to maximize efficiency

  • Develop and monitor staffing plans to execute the schedule on time at the planned rate or better

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Proven experience in a leadership or similar role
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
  • Skills in MS Office
  • Experience with implementing or maintaining PM and Maintenance Request Systems
  • Experience with Arc-Flash, Hazmat and Fall Prevention requirements and practices a must
  • Excellent organizing and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Working knowledge of PLC controls, Electric motors and drives, 3-phase electrical power required

Education and Experience


  • Minimum 6 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions

This job is in a typical manufacturing environment, to include:


  • Ovens
  • Forklifts
  • Torches
  • Rotating tools
  • Etc.

Physical Requirements


  • This individual will be walking and standing at various times of the day, as it requires a consistent presence on the production area. Must be able to work at heights up to 100 feet.
