Basic Job Functions:




Vulcraft/Verco Group Technology Services (GTS) is seeking a dedicated SAP FICO Functional Analyst to oversee our financial processes and ensure they are efficient, accurate, and aligned with our business objectives. This role is pivotal in driving process improvements, managing financial systems, and providing analytical support to our finance team.



TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 10-15% domestic travel to Vulcraft plants is required.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize end-to-end SAP FICO processes.


• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance SAP FICO functionalities.


• Configure SAP FICO to meet business requirements and create functional specifications for custom development.


• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides.


• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the system functions correctly.


• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues


• Analyze financial data within SAP to provide insights and support decision making.


• Lead training sessions and provide support for SAP FICO end users.Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and regulatory standards.


• Drive projects aimed at improving financial operations and system integrations.


• Maintain a deep understanding of SAP FICO modules and their integration with other SAP modules or applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an IT-related field.


• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in the FICO modules.


• 3+ years of practical experience in financial operations, analyzing, and improving financial systems and processes.


• Experience with full life cycle implementations, from design to go live, for FICO modules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP/SAP implementation for manufacturing or steel company.


• SAP FICO certification.


• SAP S/4 HANA experience is a plus.


• Experience working within the principles of Scrum or other agile development practice.


• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
