Grating Project Coordinator at Nucor Corporation in Grapeland, Texas

Job Description:

Basic Job Functions:



The responsibilities of the Grating Project Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Pricing fabrication jobs.


• Coordinating daily with District Sales Managers to obtain market information for pricing jobs accordingly.


• Managing the fabrication scheduling process and backlog.


• Continuously improving fabrication process from booking orders to completion of project.


• Assisting with forecast probability and production capacity.

The Grating Project Coordinator position will be located at the Grapeland, Texas facility.


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Minimum Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field


Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills




Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in the grating manufacturing industry.


Experience pricing jobs and preparing quotes.
