Location: REMOTE

Salary: $50.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr Structural Analyst (MRB/Liason)


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Document non-conformance tags for spacecraft structures .


• Analyse variations to part print specifications which effect part form, fit, and function.


• Evaluate and provide a course of action regarding the ultimate disposition of the parts.


• Evaluates areas of non-conformance regarding defects arising during the manufacturing process and as compared to the product definition requirements as defined by the drawings.


• Perform design engineering analysis of discrepant machined parts manufactured in an aerospace manufacturing facility. For example, it may be used "as-is" with no corrective action, reworked to a condition that is acceptable for use, repaired, or scrapped.


• This analysis will include performing tolerance stacks, stress, metallurgical, aerodynamic, dynamic, NDT, and heat transfer analysis
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of a B.S. Degree in mechanical, aerospace or civil engineering


• 4-5 + years of experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle.
