IC4 Project Manager




Hours: M-F 8am-5pm



Duration: 9+ Months



Pay rate: 33-35/hr DOE



Location: Hybrid Austin, Texas (in office 3 days a week)


The contract Project Manager is a member of the Global Marketing team and reports to the Sr. Project Manager, Private Label Packaging.


Responsibilities:



  • Works with creative teams to facilitate packaging development for private label items.

  • Collects intake documentation and briefs internal or 3rd party creative teams on all packaging projects.

  • Ensures objectives and information needed for package design are clear and complete.

  • Engages with vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective label development, review, and understanding of, and adherence to, package development and requirements.

  • Assists in facilitating the label review and approval process and ensures all required approvals are obtained before moving forward to printing packaging.

  • Acts as a champion for brand continuity across all stakeholder groups and product categories.

  • Schedules creative reviews and manages creative deliverables and timelines across all parties.

  • Works with cross-functional parties to determine and convey priorities across teams.

  • Workflows and communicates updates using product-lifecycle and project management tools.

  • Works with cross-functional parties, to request and track samples for photography and schedule photoshoots.



Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of project management experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods space

  • 1+ year of packaging experience

  • Ability to keep projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder objectives and deadlines. Understands store and regional marketing goals and objectives.

  • Able to identify alignment / misalignment of team project goals with larger organizational strategy, goals, and objectives.

  • Broad understanding of the food industry and/or consumer packaged goods industry and associated packaging materials, packaging equipment, packaging systems and controls, and related manufacturing applications.

  • Excellent listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate detailed feedback clearly and effectively on food packaging graphics.

  • Excellent aptitude for analyzing stakeholder needs, identifying gaps and risks, and defining solutions to a business problem.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

  • Experience working with product life-cycle management and project management systems.

  • Knowledge of FDA Code of Federal Regulation (Section 21) a plus.
