Glass + Metal Craft needs an experienced Process Engineer to define and improve the Operations processes. There are six main operations that fabricate custom glass products from sheets of glass - and G+MC wants to make them easier and more efficient. Easy, right? Quality. What is good and why? How to maintain a process when there is input variation?
Efficiency. What are the simple steps to choreographing and operation to maximize efficiency?Introduce production schedule and product variation! Now, how to define process control to maximize efficiency.
Training. Define the process once and then, how to enrich our Culture to foster training and get Operators able to understand and drive the process? This transfer of knowledge and teaching strengthens the Operations Team.
Necessary to join the G+MC Team:
Education. What have you learned and how have you used your education to achieve success? There is a need for a 4-year degree, preferably in business, supply chain, or engineering. Disciplined problem solving is essential.
Process Engineering experience. What have you done and why? Your biggest success for an Operational process? Most importantly, how effective are you connecting with the Team and having long-lasting consistent change?
