RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in Tarrytown, NY is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and manage critical data security and classification initiatives.

Summary:
In this role, you will oversee the implementation of cybersecurity measures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with data policies. You will develop training programs, foster a culture of security awareness, and maintain comprehensive documentation of security protocols. REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus


• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management within cybersecurity with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry; Proven experience managing projects related to data governance are preferred


• Proficiency in MS Purview, SailPoint, or Varonis is essential; Strong understanding of data security technologies, risk management, and regulatory compliance


• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management


• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders


• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
