Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's Degree preferred • A strong work ethic and ability to manage a high volume of tasks at the same time • 2+ years of experience in sales support, data entry, and/or customer service • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proven track record of flexibility in a team setting • Customer focused with a passion for exceptional customer service • Able to thrive in a fast paced inside sales/customer service environment • Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage time effectively • Able to track information accurately and have a strong attention to detail • Able to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times • Exposure to CRM systems and previous customer service experience a plus • Highly motivated, well-organized, flexible, and results oriented • Proven ability to assess, manage and operate effectively given multiple priorities in a mission-critical environment • Excellent mathematical skills with emphasis in accounting or financial math • Strong organizational skills, including detailed record-keeping, excellent and independent follow-through, and a high degree of accuracy • Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred • Proficient with technology, Microsoft Office; prefer Outlook and Excel • Able to learn new systems quickly
Responsibilities:
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the generation of revenue through service and product order entry and system documentation. This will be accomplished through supporting the Inside & Renewal Sales teams in all aspects of documentation, account reconciliation, invoice research, reporting, and task management throughout the selling cycle.
Some essential functions of this position include: • Follow best practices and processes to support the Inside & Renewal Sales team in achieving and exceed the annual quota through thorough and accurate completion of product and service tasks • Prioritize weekly and monthly product and service renewal activities to maximize quarterly revenue and cash flow targets • Assist in the response to customer emails promptly related to service renewals • Create and provide customer proposals and supply any related documentation and/or brochures supporting the customer proposed solution to ensure renewals are closed timely • Create and provide full customer equipment lists showing current equipment under contract and update equipment on each list based on customer feedback • Submit all tasks related to customer changes and renewals to the Global Business Services team and manage the renewal to ensure completion • Utilize Salesforce to properly document, report and forecast current and future renewal opportunities. • Collaborate with your sales team and provide working document as required • Work closely with business partners to develop a positive working relationship and maintain up-to-date information on renewals processes, marketing campaigns, and changes to technology. • Assist in executing campaigns targeted to existing customers • Assist in other sales and marketing tasks as needed
