Our client, a global ecommerce company is looking for a highly organized and data-driven Inventory Planner to oversee the strategic flow of inventory across their supply chain. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, analyzing SKU performance, and ensuring accuracy in data, purchase orders, and vendor relations. Strong execution of data-driven processes is essential, as well as the ability to collaborate across departments to support cross-functional initiatives and drive project development.
This is a 12 Month Contract position that will report to their Redmond, WA offices 5 days/week.
Hourly rate $26/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure data accuracy for inventory tools and processes to function seamlessly.
Manage inbound shipments, including purchase order tracking, maintenance, fill rates, operational issues, and vendor communications.
Analyze inventory positions and SKU performance to determine optimal stock levels and future inventory needs.
Execute on purchase orders, stock management, and vendor-related systems, generating and analyzing relevant reports.
Physically handle inventory tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing physical movements such as bending, stooping, and twisting.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in inventory management, either as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer.
Proficient in business software such as Excel; strong data analysis and reporting skills are essential.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Flexible and adaptable, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
