Job Description:

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a customer focused Sr. Project Manager who will join our team in our Dallas, TX location. Responsibilities will include ensuring project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.


Position overview:



  • Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities

  • Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project

  • Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/troubleshooting.

  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed

  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems

  • Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.

  • Responsible for financial success of projects

  • Other responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

  • 2 years minimum of Project Management or estimating experience in the construction industry.

  • Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired 

  • Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience

  • Must have proven experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multi-facet responsibilities, with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must

  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
