Job Description:

C.R. LAURENCE is seeking a skilled, experienced, and energetic Architectural Technical Specialist based in Los Angeles, CA. This position will report to the Architectural Technical Support, Manager. This person will be responsible for building and promoting the C. R. LAURENCE brand and products within the architecture and construction industry, and provide product design and technical information assistance to secure specifications across the entire C. R. LAURENCE architectural metals and glass fittings portfolio, and support for up to two Architectural Specialists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as general technical specialist for the ABD team


• Respond to all architect and specifier phone or email requests and resolve them by providing relevant and accurate information (samples, documents, images, etc.), as needed


• Qualifying leads coming in from (all sources)


• Assist in designing and implementing a new sample program and/or design and implement the architectural document library.


• Utilize CRM to track and document progress in the ABD pipeline


• Utilize external databases to identify potential specification opportunities and project information


• Support for two outside Architectural Specialists


• Work with marketing team to track and measure promotions and outreach programs

Requirements

• Demonstrate a broad knowledge of C. R. LAURENCE products and capabilities


• General understanding of glass and architectural metal systems, construction documents and details, and building code requirements


• Demonstrate a sincere desire to understand and anticipate the needs of architects and designers


• Ability to work at a fast pace and stay current with all inquiries and follow-up tasks


• Effective navigation of C. R. LAURENCE’s website and business software to retrieve product and business transaction information


• Must be organized and the ability to prioritize effectively


• Must have excellent customer service skills


• Demonstrate critical and independent thinking skills to anticipate and resolve issues, an ability to exercise tact, discretion, and good self-expression

Salary Range: $81,700 / MID $102,100 / MAX $122,500. (Los Angeles)
