JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare crash studies using basic data compilation and computation procedures. These studies include crash rate analyses and individual analyses.
- Draw crash diagrams and crash spot maps using MicroStation CAD software.
- Generate, interpret, and manipulate spreadsheets from imported crash data queried from the OnBase and NebCID systems.
- Use electronic document imaging system to retrieve, read, and print motor vehicle crash reports.
- Review crash study locations through the use of the Pathweb photolog system, Google Maps/Earth, maps and map software.
- Upload crash study files into the OnBase system.
- Draft narrative statements for use in crash rate analyses, summarizing crash data for safety project analyses, and creating formalized responses to data requests from internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:Post-high school coursework/training in: statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analysis OR experience in collecting and/or compiling statistics from varied sources using telephones, terminals, microfilm equipment, or surveys; computing solutions to statistical problems; or editing and/or summarizing information into worksheets, tables, and/or reports.
