Technician- Quality Control




Chelmsford, MA




Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• 
  Summary: Inspect electromechanical components, housings, and assemblies for conformance to work instructions, industry standards, and drawings using microscopes, test equipment, and hand-held tools.


• Enter inspection results into QMS and MRP systems, and collaborate with engineering to report and document non-conformances.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High School Diploma or GED.


• 
  Clearance: Ability to obtain or hold a Secret Clearance.


• 
  Experience:
  


• 3 years of inspection experience.


• Proficiency in microscope visual inspection and use of hand-held inspection tools.


• ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training and awareness.


• Ability to follow detailed work instructions.


• Desired Skills:
  
  
  • Experience in the defense industry.
  
  
  • Familiarity with SAP Quality Module, AS9100, Mil-STD-883, IPC-610, J-STD-001 (active certification preferred), Clean Room, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) protocols.
