Production Control Assistant




Chelmsford, MA




Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• 
  Summary: Provide production control support on the manufacturing floor, managing inventory, rework tasks, and production orders using SAP, Apriso WM, and Microsoft Excel.


• Utilize SAP and Apriso WM for stock management, rework tasks, and production order releases.


• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and release dates to align with program needs.


• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and program managers to prevent and resolve production issues.


• Conduct daily cycle counts, manage Kanban inventory, and ensure accurate labeling and packing of parts.


• Prepare and issue assembly kits according to established quality and schedule standards.


• Verify physical inventory against SAP records and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High School Diploma (no degree required).


• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  
  
  • Experience in stockroom, warehouse, or production control environments.
  
  
  • Familiarity with warehousing practices such as receiving, stocking, and issuing materials.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Desired Qualifications:
  
  
  
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or Apriso systems.
  
  
  • Experience with ERP systems, ESD practices, and cycle counting.
