Production Control Assistant




Chelmsford, MA




Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• 
  Summary: Support the manufacturing floor with production control tasks, managing inventory and production orders using SAP, Apriso WM, and Microsoft Excel.


• Use SAP and Apriso WM to manage stock, complete rework tasks, and release production orders.


• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and coordinate with program needs.


• Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors, Engineers, and Program Managers to resolve production issues.


• Conduct stock audits, participate in Kanban cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.


• Prepare assembly kits and issue materials to the manufacturing floor.


• Verify SAP inventory against physical stock, identify discrepancies, and initiate corrective actions.


• Perform daily cycle counts and ensure proper labeling and packing of parts.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High School Diploma (no degree required).


• 
  Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.


• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  
  
  • Experience in stockroom, warehouse, or production control environments.
  
  
  • Knowledge of warehousing practices, including receiving, stocking, and issuing materials.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Desired Qualifications:
  
  
  
  • Experience with SAP and/or Apriso systems.
  
  
  • Knowledge of ESD practices and cycle counting.
  
  
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
