As a Senior Finance Manager focused on economic research and investment analysis, you will play a key role in evaluating and tracking the company's major investments. This position requires someone with a diverse financial background, covering venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and specialized consulting. Your expertise will drive key financial decisions and impact our overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive economic research and studies related to rates of return, depreciation, and investments.
Measure and track the growth and performance of major investments, and report findings to senior management.
Analyze profit-and-loss statements, generate forecasts, and identify trends in sales, finance, and other business areas.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial research and data.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align financial performance with strategic business objectives.
Support the organization's financial planning by researching economic progressions.
Prepare and present detailed reports on financial status and performance against budgets and forecasts.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
(Alternatively, PhD or Law + 6 years of experience, Master's Degree + 7 years of experience, Associate's Degree + 9 years of experience, or High School Diploma + 10 years of relevant experience.)
Experience: Minimum of 8-9 years of directly relevant work experience in investments, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, or specialized consulting.
Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or ACMA are highly preferred.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Deep understanding of investments, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and other specialized financial areas.
Experience with economic research, financial analysis, and business trend forecasting.
Proven ability to measure and evaluate the growth of major investments and advise senior leadership on strategic financial decisions.
Exceptional analytical skills, with a track record of creating comprehensive reports and financial forecasts.
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to deliver complex financial insights to senior management.
