Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Java Developer III within our Sacramento, California team. This position will be hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite every week.



Responsibilities:

• Work with business analysts to define user stories and translate them into technical specifications and designs


• Perform analysis, design, estimation, development and test activities associated with the delivery of system changes and enhancements


• Identify service and system improvements for the existing system.


• Working with a functional team in gaining domain knowledge and in-depth understanding of client functional requirements so that can work on implementation requirements and support client banks.


• Able to resolve Simple to Medium technical issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


• 5 - 8 years of the Java and Spring framework (Spring MVC, Spring boot, Spring security)


• 3 + years of UI development (Angular, React, HTML, CSS)


• 5 - 8 years of a relational database, specifically DB2


• 1 + year of experience on DynamoDB or other NOSQL databases.


• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and Continue Integration (CI) process


• Strong knowledge of REST service Development

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $80,800 to $129,300.
