JOB DESCRIPTION



Wood is seeking an "Expression of interest" for a Scaffolding & Access Supervisor to work on a long-term LNG terminal maintenance project in Brownsville, TX. The Scaffolding & Access Supervisor will oversee the scaffolding and access team, ensuring safe and efficient operations at the LNG Terminal. This role involves developing scaffolding plans, conducting daily briefings, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.



RESPONSIBILITIES



Key Responsibilities:



Team Supervision:

  • Lead and supervise the scaffolding and access team.
  • Report to the Owner Maintenance Services Superintendent.

Scaffolding Plans:

  • Develop and approve detailed scaffolding plans for various operations.

Daily Meetings:

  • Conduct daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks to ensure team readiness and safety.

Scheduling:

  • Ensure the execution of schedules and compliance with project timelines.

Incident Investigation:

  • Provide inputs and support for incident investigations.

CMMS Updates:

  • Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Reporting:

  • Prepare and manage reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Equipment Management:

  • Oversee the management, certification, and accountability of scaffolding equipment.

Procedure Adherence:

  • Ensure team adherence to established procedures and processes.

Performance Management:

  • Manage the performance of the scaffolding team, providing feedback and support as needed.

Timekeeping:

  • Handle time writing and timesheet management for the team.





QUALIFICATIONS



Qualifications:

  • NCCER Scaffold Builder certification.
  • OSHA Scaffolding Competent Person certification.
  • Fall Protection Competent Person certification.
  • Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role.
  • Proven experience in scaffolding supervision, preferably in an LNG or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS and other relevant software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • This position involves working in an industrial environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
