Position: IAM Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX 78259

Duration: Salaried/FTE

Salary: $135,000-168,000/year (depending on experience)

Must Haves:
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of diversified IT experience, with at least 3 years of direct leadership experience.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator.

Day-to-Day:

The Information Technology Manager in the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure department will lead the vision, strategy, and innovation for Identity & Access Management (IAM). This role emphasizes delivering business value and maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture. Key responsibilities include collaborating with IT, Cybersecurity, and business partners to develop secure and employee-centric IAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Oversee a team of IT professionals, including solution architects, engineers, and service providers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with management to set team goals and establish product roadmaps that align with the organization's strategic vision. This involves translating high-level strategies into actionable plans.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Lead the team through changes and transformations, and develop roadmaps to set priorities and monitor progress.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, and vendors. Work with internal IT groups to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
  • System Reliability and Security: Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems. Implement measures to protect sensitive information and prevent disruptions.
  • Project Management: Plan and lead IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Manage the project portfolio through governance and planning processes.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the IAM budget. Track expenses and ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet business requirements.
  • Technology Trends: Stay updated on the latest technology trends and industry advancements. Make recommendations for adopting new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with established policies and proactively work with auditing to maintain proper controls.
