Lead the engineering team to drive customer success by delivering high-quality optoelectronic devices. Focus on improving internal processes, automating manufacturing/testing methods, and supporting business development in product design, development, and program execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee engineering practices for design, ECN, BOM management, and product configuration.
Lead NPI and improvement projects, ensuring progress and resource management.
Implement strategic, data-driven improvements in materials, processes, and methods.
Manage capex budget for enhancing engineering capabilities and efficiency.
Collaborate with sales, business development, and production teams to support product design and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
15+ years in opto or electro-mechanical engineering; 5+ years leading engineering teams.
Expertise in optomechanical systems, optical/mechanical design (SolidWorks PDM preferred).
Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience in ISO9000 and LEAN Manufacturing.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.
