Clinical Professional Development Associate | Luminis Health
As a Clinical Professional Development Associate, you'll play an essential role in shaping the learning experiences of clinical and shadow students. Essential Job Duties:
Education and Orientation Coordination:
Teach content for orientation and continuing education for entry-level positions.
Coordinate logistics for Clinical Education and Professional Development (CEPD) classes.
Reserve rooms for various sessions, including skills training, continuing education, and seminars.
Set up and operate AV equipment for presentations.
Collaborate with Human Resources to facilitate orientation and onboarding.
Administrative and Support Functions:
Maintain attendance records and generate reports on delinquencies.
Create and distribute promotional materials for classes and events.
Assist with Health Stream Administration, including staff assignments and troubleshooting.
Coordinate student orientation, placement, and badge requests.
Serve as a resource on campus for students, clinical educators, and instructors.
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate with directors, educators, and HR staff regarding orientation schedules and concerns.
Assist in Joint Commission readiness activities.
Represent the CEPD department by providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Technical and Organizational Skills:
Maintain AHA instructor, student, and class files per requirements.
Use electronic learning management systems to assign orientation materials.
Organize and arrange room setups for training and educational events.
Participate in hospital functions such as health fairs and fundraising events.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare field or adult training environment.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Additional Information:
Flexibility to work outside normal daytime hours occasionally.
Ability to lift objects under 20 pounds and move lightweight training equipment.
Must be able to focus on moderate to fine details for extended periods.
Regularly interacts with individuals from various departments and organizations.
