Job Description: Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative
Position Overview: We are seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join a small, collaborative team in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role involves managing inbound and outbound communications with agency clients and insurance carrier personnel. The manager will be responsible for auto and home policy rating, changes, cancellations, mortgage updates, and policy inquiries. Prior experience in commercial lines is a plus, as this position will work closely with the producer team to enhance customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound communications via phone and email with agency clients and insurance carriers.
Manage the rating, changes, and cancellations of auto and home policies.
Update mortgage information and respond to policy inquiries.
Collaborate with the producer team to ensure high-quality customer service.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client interactions.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of personal lines insurance is required; familiarity with commercial lines is a bonus.
License not required.
Experience with AMS 360 or other agency management systems.
Massachusetts auto rating experience is essential.
Previous CSR experience, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Work Environment:
On-site work required 3 days per week in Woburn, MA.
Reporting to the Managing Partner.
Small office team consisting of 4 people.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (30-minute lunch break).
Contract Details:
Length: 3-6 months, with the potential for conversion to a full-time position based on performance.
Pay rate: $23-$26 per hour as a contractor.
