As a Customer Service Representative in our Commercial Lines department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients and internal team. You will handle billing inquiries, certificates of insurance, auto id cards, policy changes, prepare renewal marketing materials for the assigned AE and AM members of your team, prepare contract keys and ensure our clients receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person promptly and professionally.
Process policy changes, renewal preparations, certificate of insurance, etc. accurately and efficiently
Maintain detailed and organized client records.
Collaborate with Account Managers and Account Executives to ensure their needs and the needs of our clients are met.
Provide administrative support to the commercial lines team as needed.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
Shadow Account Manager to gain insight into higher-level advisory roles.
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build professional connections and development.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Degree is nice.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with insurance management software preferred
Additional Requirements:
Commitment to obtaining a Property and Casualty License within 90 days of hire.
