Job Title: Director of Application
Location: Schaumburg, IL - 4 days a week
Salary: $150,000 - $160,000
Work Schedule: 4 days a week (in-office) Schaumburg, IL
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our small but dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, particularly with Azure, M365, and SharePoint, as well as a solid understanding of compliance regulations such as FDA, HIPAA, and SOX. This role will involve overseeing the development and enhancement of our data management systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of health data related to cardiac devices.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and configuration of SharePoint sites and applications, including building and overhauling portals in the cloud.
Manage data integrity projects, including major initiatives to clean and validate health data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Develop and implement best practices for data security and cyber resilience, addressing issues related to ransomware.
Work closely with a small IT team and coordinate with third-party services for backup, patches, and system scalability.
Document processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations and project progress.
Provide support for PowerBI reporting and oversee data accessibility for clients and sponsors.
Qualifications: Proven experience as an Application Architect or similar role with a focus on Azure and SharePoint.
Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, particularly those relevant to medical data management.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive organizational improvements.
Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence to respond to client needs effectively.
Familiarity with the development life cycle and API integration is preferred.
Background in IT project management and quality assurance practices is a plus.
