Trustpoint.One has an immediate opening for a Legal Professional Development Assistant on a temporary basis for an Am Law 200 law firm. This role will support career development initiatives and events for the firm. The position will also assist virtual and in-person legal training programs and practice group meetings. Successful candidates will have previous experience in a relevant space (HR, talent, administrative, or training and development). The expected duration of the assignment will be until July 2025 and will be based on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office/week in the firm's Roseland, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate schedules and dates for professional development programs, meetings, and events; creating meetings in Zoom
Reserve internal and external venues for trainings and other events
Create and distribute registration and attendance reports
Catering orders for trainings and other firm events
Provide partners with resources to prepare quality performance reviews
Data maintenance and and confidentiality
Provide administrative support to the professional development team
Process expense reports related to career development
Keep track of open items and initiating timely follow-up.
Work proactively to find timely solutions to problems
Collaborate with the Human Resources Department on diversified Department initiatives
Other duties and special projects as needed
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Exceptional client-service mindset and communication skills, both verbal and written
High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
High proficiency in video conference platforms such as WebEx and Zoom (recording, polling, chat, etc.)
Able to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
Able to uphold a professional demeanor at all times
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
