We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Senior BI/Data Science Analyst to support data-driven decision making within the company. The position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, as you will be positioned to gradually take on more responsibilities in critical business areas requiring efficient and effective data analysis and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
Report Management - Assist in and gradually overtake the maintenance, updating, and distribution of company-wide reports to ensure timely/accurate delivery. Mostly carried out through PowerBI, KlipFolio, Salesforce, and Excel.
SQL Query Writing - Develop and refine SQL queries for data extraction, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
Report Auditing - Support the auditing of reports to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and ease of maintenance.
Vetting Tasks - Assist in vetting processes as needed, often using the above skills, ensuring data quality and completeness.
Python Programming for Automation - Work on automating routine data tasks using Python, particularly with Pandas.
Data Cleaning and Entry - Perform data cleaning and entry tasks with attention to detail and precision.
Solution Development - Assist in developing and refining business intelligence solutions under senior team member guidance.
Documentation - Maintain clear and accurate documentation of processes and solutions, facilitating the scalability of our team.
Collaboration - Work closely with the Senior BI/Data Science Analyst to ensure smooth project execution.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency and experience with PowerBI and SQL (we use Azure SQL, specifically) is a must.
Familiarity with Python [pandas, pyodbc, simple_salesforce, Jupyter notebooks].
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Aptitude and willingness to present data to non-technical and leadership audiences.
