Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified SWPPP Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) that meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement SWPPPs for construction sites throughout California
Conduct site inspections to evaluate compliance with SWPPP requirements
Provide training and guidance on SWPPP requirements to team members and contractors
Prepare and submit necessary reports and documents to regulatory agencies
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to stormwater management
Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement effective stormwater management practices
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in SWPPP development and implementation
QSD certification required through CGPTT or CASQA
SMARTS database experience required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
Ability to travel based on inspection requirements of 2022 Construction General Permit
