Your Role:


If you are a curious leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and are looking to expand your business partnering skills, we invite you to join our Global Science & Lab Solutions (SLS) finance leadership team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance for SLS, you will be the business partner to our Head of Innovation & PMO to optimize the effectiveness of our R&D investments. You will collaborate closely with the business units to coordinate and streamline R&D decision support, including standardization of financial modeling, project reporting, and establishing internal & external benchmarks for KPIs. This position also partners with the Head of Strategy & Business Development to coordinate our annual, strategic planning process, and to support business development efforts that cross multiple businesses. This role directly manages one staff member, and works closely across the SLS & Life Sciences finance and systems teams to lead process improvement initiatives including working capital optimization, forecast simplification and standardization, reporting automation, sales forecast consolidation, etc.



This will be a hybrid role based out of our Burlington, MA office.




Who you are:



  • 10 or more years of experience in finance roles of increasing scope and responsibility

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA is a plus.

  • Strong intellectual capacity to analyze complex information, identify trends and translate into actionable insights.

  • Results-driven: has tenacity, flexibility and drive to deliver under pressure and with changing priorities through both individual and cross-functional team efforts.

  • Agility to balance between day-to-day responsibilities while advancing critical SLS-wide initiatives.

  • Strong data modeling and technical experience. Advanced technical skills in Excel, digital data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI,), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and PowerPoint.

  • Influencing: ability to effectively communicate, challenge the status quo, and lead change initiatives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
