Your Role:



As part of the Process Solutions North America Commercial team, this Inside Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships and driving sales growth mainly through third-party distribution channels, including resellers, integrators and distributors. The Inside Sales Account Manager will be involved in developing and executing channel strategies, optimizing partner performance and ensuring partners are well-equipped with product knowledge and sales support to drive mutual business growth, product adoption and profitability.


This is a remote position, part of an East Coast-based team, with up to 10% routine travel required for continuous training, business meetings and territory engagements. Occasional domestic and/or international overnight travel may be required.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners.

  • Implement strategies to grow sales through distribution channels.

  • Enable training and support to distribution partners on product features and marketing strategies to drive sales

  • Monitor distributor performance and provide feedback to improve results

  • Collaborate with internal business partners (field sales, technology management and customer applications) to support channel initiatives.

  • Manage business opportunities, negotiate pricing and close sales deals.

  • Ensure distributors meet sales targets and maintain brand standards.

  • Analyze trends, contribute to forecasting and achieve sales targets.

  • Resolve technical and logistical issues with partners to maintain healthy relationships.

  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals, both internally and externally.

  • Develop understanding of MilliporeSigma products and services through continuous training.


Who you are:




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar discipline.



  • 3+ years of experience in account management or channel sales


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Background in sciences is a plus.



  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated and assertive

  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop insights-based strategies

  • Familiarity with CRM systems
