Maintenance Technician II - D




Huntsville, AL




Contract Position




Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead machine tool service and preventative maintenance for production equipment, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.


• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machine tools such as mills, lathes, lasers, robots, and assembly manufacturing equipment.


• Operate as the area's Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating with production teams to resolve maintenance issues.


• 
  Maintain detailed service records and ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are performed as scheduled.


• Safely work within an industrial environment and successfully complete required training.

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • 3+ years of multi-skilled maintenance experience, with expertise in at least two disciplines.
  
  
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
  
  
  • Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and diagrams.
  
  
  • Proficiency in precision hand tools and familiarity with computer systems, including CMMS.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.


• 
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  
  
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mori-Seiki, and Siemens controls.
  
  
  • Knowledge of machine ladder logic and PLC systems.
  
  
  • Familiarity with laser welding and vacuum chambers.
  
  
  • Multi-axis lathe, mill, and vertical turret lathe (VTL) experience.
  
  
  • Experience with industrial ovens and production assembly equipment.
  
  
  • Background in integrating accessory machine components and handling hazardous waste.
  
  
  • Operation of heavy lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts.
