Provides reports on labor data as needed to departments
Schedules all production employees with the goal of running all lines as efficiently as possible
Communicates, processes and updates new hire evaluations as needed
Schedules overtime and adjusts staffing lines within the guidelines of company guidelines and strategies
Evaluates direct and indirect labor costs as well as material costs
Helps establish and drive process improvements
Participates in Kaizens, brainstorming sessions, workshops, problem solving sessions and process mapping exercises to bring alignment, extract knowledge and improve performance
Creates a visual workplace leveraging progressive 5S and visual controls. Promotes plant wide KPIs, integrating data in decision making and prioritization of projects
Trains production supervisors and leads to create a culture that can engage employees at all levels in the problem-solving process to achieve plant goals. Drive data-driven, frontline team-based culture
Aids in creation and implementation of Best Practices throughout the production floor
Responsible for execution for loss analysis and OEE improvement plan
Assists in improving safety performance and culture using Lean tools
Conducts Choke Point Analysis, Mass balance, Centerline,5 WHYs, RCA_CAPA and FIT teams
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with a focus in Supply Chain/Operations, Food Science, Engineering, or Business or equivalent experience
3+ years in continuous improvement experience in Manufacturing environment
Experience and in depth understanding of lean, TPM, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
Highly self-motivated and self-directed
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
A positive attitude to get the job done
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
