Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator with expertise in Asphalt Paving to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates to support project success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment needed for asphalt paving projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success.
Compile and evaluate bid proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to prepare accurate estimates.
Maintain accurate records of project costs and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Asphalt Paving Estimating.
Experience as a Project Manager overseeing heavy civil construction projects.
Knowledge of DOT and FDOT regulations and requirements.
Proficiency in AGTEK, HCSS, and Heavy Bid software.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
