Pacific International is working with the Semiconductor Business Unit of a world-leading industrial manufacturing organization looking for a General Manager. This person will take responsibility and lead the operations/growth for their greenfield site in NY; which is one of their most critical sites in the USA. This business division develops and manufactures solutions for the semiconductor industry.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and driven leader with experience building up new factories, including responsibility for recruitment, operations, and building relationships in the local community and top-caliber organizations in the chip-making space. This person must be highly technical, have strong leadership capabilities, and experience in operations and supply chain. They should be comfortable in a matrix organization and have a proven track record of implementing structure and processes into a facility of around 400-600 individuals. They should be solid at both the site level, and have a track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders and leaders in the government, etc. This person must be prepared to be a key stakeholder in change management and a change agent for the division. They should thrive in highly entrepreneurial environments while aligning to the existing ways of working in the mature organization. As a member of the organization's Leadership Team, this person will have the chance to work on game-changing technologies that can and will truly impact our world and leave a legacy.
