Learning, Talent Development and Performance Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Learning, Talent Development & Performance Manager will define the learning and development (L&D) strategy and direction which align with business strategy and priorities to ensure development and facilitation of programs including leadership development, employee development, Individual Develop Planning (IDP), mentoring, onboarding, needs assessment, training evaluation and assessing talent. This position will ensure effective development and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective L&D programs that align with Sigma's cultural framework and Central Learning & Development global strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Guide and coach T&C teams and business leaders in performance management/evaluation, employee engagement, culture transformation, build and maintain client understanding and relationships; coach organization leaders to understand barriers in team performance; administer company wide performance management process and systems, including guideline/goal cascading, goal progress monitoring and feedback, performance evaluation, and calibration of annual performance evaluation
Define and manage the current L&D strategy; mapping skills, capabilities, and culture expectations to close identified gaps and priorities and lead assessment of L&D needs across the organization to determining emerging needs.
Develop and communicate plan recommendations/priorities through collaboration with business leaders, Organization Development, T&C Partnerships; identify gaps in existing training and competency gaps; establish criteria to evaluate effectiveness of training programs based on desired outcomes; measures and communicates training success.
Create and/or effectively source and ensure effective facilitation of challenging and engaging curriculum that integrate instructor-led, experiential, and technology-based learning; ensuring curriculum considers audience, learning styles, location, and participant readiness within the learning process
Lead the design, development, delivery, assessment and continuous improvement of core learning content and programs using a variety of mediums (virtual and in-person) to drive learning, development and engagement including but not limited to, leadership, technical, sales, industry knowledge and soft skills training
Lead and develop members of the of L&D team; leads team in Learning Management System (LMS) administration, researching, evaluating third party training vendors, and managing training and/or development program costs against budget
Collaborate effectively with Central Learning & Development to align US talent development with global strategies
Oversee the design, development, delivery, and assessment of scalable and effective learning non-instructor led solutions, including e-learning and performance support tools
Partner with subject matter experts to design, implement and execute training solutions that meet the needs of assigned client groups; improves upon the quality of existing content to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and timely

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Organizational development, Human Resource Management or related field or four (4) years' work-related experience
Three (3) years' of training and development experience in a business environment. With Proven track record of designing and implementing effective L&D programs.
Three (3) years' leadership experience
One (1) year Performance Management Experience
License/Certifications

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Education, Organizational Psychology or similar
Experience working in a corporate or multi-unit role
Training and development experience in manufacturing or similar industry
Experience working with Success Factors, and/or SharePoint
Bi-lingual: Spanish
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA's)
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Leadership training program design and delivery
Experience leading needs assessment and learning program evaluations.
Experience managing LMS.
Proven curriculum design experience.
Expert training facilitator (classroom and web-based).
High-level ability to communicate and present across all levels of the organization; must be able to clearly articulate technical ideas to a technical and non-technical audience both verbally and in writing.
High level ability to create collaborative environment by building professional relationships with business leaders and cross functional teams.
Expert in identify different learning styles and to select optimal delivery methods to achieve desired outcomes.
Proficiency in the use of training design software such as Captivate, Articulate, etc.
Expert knowledge in adult learning theory and methods
Demonstrated ability conducting needs assessment and gap analysis to ensure development and delivery of appropriate and relevant content
Ability to multi-task and ensure completion of L&D assignments with quality, especially handling competing demands or aggressive timelines
Works independently with minimum direction; takes assignments successfully from concept to implementation
Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience in Performance Management
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
Able to travel up to 35% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
