Responsibilities • Drive use case and requirement analysis for the ingestion and integration of core data domains to be leveraged by Business Intelligence / Advanced Analytics /Operational teams to gain insights on AirMI's successes and opportunities and improve operational efficiencies • Prioritize and manage backlog. • Perform reverse engineering to understand and evolve an existing solution. • Research a critical source system/service to automate ingestion, educating teammates on knowledge of business data requirements and business processes. • Requirements and Use Case documentation for data engineering development. • Analyzing complex data sets, identifying key insights, and developing strategies to optimize industrial processes through the implementation of IoT solutions. • Source to Target Mapping. • Data Product Requirements. • Test Cases for user acceptance. • Data Dictionary (business and technical). • Documentation around process and data flow mapping. • Input to guidelines, data governance structure, and standards. • Data Quality & Audit process and standards. • Analysis of data validation and cleansing in systems.
What you bring • Bachelor/Master degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics or related technical subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience • You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying key insights, and developing strategies to optimize industrial processes through the implementation of IoT solutions. • Have a strong background in data analysis and a deep understanding of the industrial IoT landscape • 8+ years proven work experience in Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst role in manufacturing environment • Experience in Strong SQL and a scripting language such as Python or R • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Experience working with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI • Strong understanding of data modeling and analytical algorithms • Experience working in Azure environment primarily Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2 preferred • Ability to cleanse, curate, and manipulate data; as well as visualize and story-telling the results of an analysis • Clear communication and storytelling via presentations, key performance metrics, reports, and data • Proven experience and ability to deliver results on multiple projects in a fast-paced agile environment • Self-starter, highly organized and result oriented; and should be able to work with minimal direction • Embrace and understand Agile methodology. • Adjust to new stakeholders when they are identified (and intake/requirement gathering). • Learn with architect and engineers as we engage in a new technology platform/architecture • Work across a solutions team that is a mix of teammates from differing functions and located in different places around the world. • Ensure accountability for teammates and themselves. • Work with the team to meet goals (team player). • Communicate early and often when clarity is needed (not make assumptions). • Be transparent and ask for help when needed.
