The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for products and/or product lines. They are the champion of a product and lead cross-functional teams from a product's conception through to its launch. Strong thought leadership is a required, coupled with strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
To manage from concept, to design, prototypes, testing, forecast, cost, day to day support, and finally product end of life.
Expert in leading post launch commercialization plans, working closely with sales to ensure the successful adoption of new products.
Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements
Leads the marketing development effort to bring new products from conceptual stages through product life cycles
Collaborate with multiple internal groups such as sales, engineering, marketing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Conduct margin analysis, industry/market research, and in-life performance measurement to determine product demand, positioning, viability, and profitability
Builds and maintains long-term relationships with key strategic customers
Manages day-to-day progress of product development for product lines
Provides technical expertise and training to other departments in support of product development.

Requirements
BS Degree required
10 years’ experience in decorative laminate surfaces, cabinets, etc.
