Volt is immediately hiring for Equipment Operator in Vernon, CA.
As a Equipment Operator you will:
Operates equipment and machinery used for processes such as packaging, bindery, finishing and print production not requiring highly specialized training or certifications
May do setups, adjustments and cleanups
At higher levels may include equipment with multiple inline processes
Operates equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
Reads and interprets work orders, blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, within quality guidelines and in a timely fashion
May have to complete formal training in area of specialty with no to minimal prior experience in the field or in a related area
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 7:00am -3:30pm open to overtime on Saturday.
The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:
Operates equipment and machinery
Knowledge of different printing
Essential for measuring materials, calculating quantities, and ensuring precise adjustments
Critical for inspecting printed products for defects and ensuring they meet specifications
Efficiently managing time to meet production deadlines
Pay Rate:$18.00 per hour
