LOCATION: WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
- Utilize PRP/MRP systems to drive demand and adjust plans as necessary to meet production goals.
- Scheduling production and monitoring the production process to generate and maintain effective daily and weekly schedules.
- Monitor the overall situation, including incoming orders, supply chain problems and inventory issues, to minimize the impact on production.
- Coordinate with Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales departments to ensure all project details are accurately communicated and executed.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and identify any potential delays or issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Use Infor Visual ERP system to manage and track production schedules and inventory.
- Providing quick responses to production issues.
- Identifying problems and helping improve processes.
- Using software to generate reports and schedules.
- Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management and sales
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain and logistics, business management or similar fields
- 7-10 yrs experience planning and production.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with computers and ERP. Acumatica and / or INFOR experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English - Spanish) preferred
- Ability to create and understand reports to make production decisions.
