Schedule: Primarily hybrid (3 days per week), with flexibility to be onsite as needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead and provide strategic direction for timely, high-quality delivery of technical products.
Cultivate a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and agile methodologies across development teams.
Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance workflows through automation, CI/CD, and other DevOps practices.
Oversee deployment and maintenance of infrastructure and applications within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), using automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system availability and rapid response to operational issues.
Administer and maintain DevOps tools, including version control (e.g., Git), build automation (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI), configuration management (e.g., Chef, Puppet), and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Partner with security teams to enforce compliance with standards and integrate security best practices in the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience across software development, IT operations, or DevOps functions, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles like CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and containerized environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).
Familiarity with DevOps tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
