The Financial Planning & Investments Manager is an integral part of the organization. Responsibilities include synchronizing all aspects of the fee-based financial planning process, managing the investment research and oversight of the firm's investment decisions, developing practice management systems, cultivating a relationship with clients of our firm, coordinating review meetings and being a great team player.

Responsibilities & Activities:

• Financial Planning:

1. Coordinates with Senior Advisors to develop, service, and deliver financial planning to the firm's clients
2. Handles all aspects of the financial planning process, including data gathering, data entry, analysis, developing recommendations and strategies, account aggregation, plan delivery and monitoring.
3. Organizes strategic planning opportunities such as tax-loss harvesting or market volatility conversations
4. Utilize eMoney, RightCapital and Holistiplan to provide full scale financial plans

• Investment Management:

1. Actively monitors the firm's model investment portfolios and coordinates with leadership to determine appropriate changes or modifications.
2. Meets with investment wholesalers to determine appropriate wealth management opportunities
3. Utilize Nitrogen/Riskalyze to research funds and manage model holdings

• Practice Management:

1. Follows segmented client service model to service all clients.
2. Regularly scheduled check-in calls
3. Schedules and coordinates review meetings
4. Creates an extraordinary client experience
5. Improve upon existing practice management systems and develop new processes to drive efficiency.
6. Identifies opportunities for additional business and referrals from existing clients
7. Coordinates new account paperwork for new and existing clients with our New Business Team
8. Updates Internal CRM with client details and workflows
9. Sends bi-weekly market commentary newsletter (from pre-approved sources)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. CFP® Certification and/or similar industry designations
2. Extreme attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills
3. Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
4. A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people
5. A burning desire to succeed
6. An ability to juggle multiple tasks, handle stress, and operate on tight deadlines
7. Past use and knowledge of programs such as RightCapital, E-Money Advisor, Holistiplan, Nitrogen/Riskalyze, etc.
8. FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66), and State Life & Health Licenses
9. Ability to work independently while also serving as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 9am - 5pm

Work Location: Tysons Corner, Virginia

Work Remotely: Flexible for the right candidate
