Branch Manager for the HYDRO Service Sterling, Virginia.
Leading the team (6 pax), compliance and observation of budget, developing local expansion strategy and implement it in the operational daily business.
Analyzing and improving the current situation in our Service Center. Trouble shooting of upcoming issues. Reporting of all project topics and monitoring of all milestones to the Service Manager International.
Primary Responsibilities:
Goal-oriented and cooperative leadership of the employees of the service station (6 pax).
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the whole team.
Responsible for compliance with targets, objectives (budget, TAT, etc.) and their monitoring.
Management of the station on the basis of KPI's.
Management of internal and external projects and, if necessary, their presentation.
Representative and contact person towards suppliers and main customers.
Conducting regular customer meetings for reconciliation purposes.
Contact person for staff, especially for technical questions/classifications.
Implementation and development of specified processes from headquarters.
Ensuring internal quality specifications, standards and compliance with occupational health and safety
Participation in day to day operations in case of bottleneck situations.
Regular reporting of the station status.
Development of the local supply chain and continuation of existing structures and partnerships.
Planning and price calculations of service assignments.
Position Requirements:
Completed studies in mechanical or plant engineering or a technical apprenticeship with further training as a technician or Industrial foreman.
Several years of professional experience in the learned field.
Several years of experience as a manager/team leading function.
Product knowledge/industry experience in the aviation industry advantageous
Experience in the field of service is advantageous
Very good technical and mechanical knowledge
Entrepreneurial thinking; communication and negotiation skills
High level of self-motivation, commitment, flexibility and hands on mentality
Reading of technical drawings/CAD
Computer skills, MS Office & SAP (advantageous)
Fluent written and spoken English, other languages desirable
