Job Description:

Our client is one of the world's leading law firms. They have an exciting opportunity for a CLE Manager to join their firm and play a key role in developing and implementing professional development initiatives for their attorney population.

Location: New York, NY or Chicago, IL

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Salary: $150,000-$165,000

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain expert knowledge of CLE regulatory requirements across all U.S. jurisdictions where the firm operates, acting as an internal subject-matter authority.
  • Review and approve annual provider reports prepared by the CLE team for submission to U.S. CLE regulators.
  • Build and manage relationships with educational consultants, vendors, and external CLE providers.
  • Supervise, develop, and retain two CLE Coordinators.
  • Engage with internal and external clients, delivering accurate and high-quality service tailored to their needs.
  • Standardize protocols and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Create and develop internal reports and presentations as required.
  • Oversee the CLE accreditation process by reviewing and analyzing course materials and program documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Troubleshoot logistical and accreditation challenges, consistently seeking innovative solutions for process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain training resources, such as tip sheets, for attorneys and business professionals regarding the CLE accreditation process.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals and subject-matter experts to keep the firm updated on CLE trends.
  • Work with the CLE team to monitor the firm's accredited provider status in relevant U.S. jurisdictions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in creating continuing legal education initiatives.
  • 1+ years of team management experience.
  • Familiarity with CLE rules and requirements in California, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, and Virginia, including reporting for approved providers.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
