Oversight of quality and food safety program development and adherence for company's plants and co-packers. Oversee the development and maintenance of product information systems (e.g. Finished Product Specs, Customer Requirements, Co-packer and plant processes) via direct cross functional collaboration that establishes and/or improves upon food safety, quality, and process controls.
Maintains quality and food safety levels across the company plants and co-manufacturers.
Designing and assuring quality and food safety policy & procedure implementation at company plants and co-packers.
Responsible for the maintenance of finished product specifications and customer inquiries related to production at company plants and co-packers.
Works cross functionally to assure quality specification and program compliance.
Driving value added continuous improvement
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree
A record of successful experience in plant quality control management and/or corporate quality assurance activities
Demonstrated pattern of initiative and leadership
Strong problem solving, decision-making, and project management skills
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
