Job Description:

This is an opportunity for a Director of Engineering to join a multi national company innovating high performance Analog semiconductors to help power the Wireless networking revolution!

The suitable engineer will have a strong background in RF IC Design with an excellent understanding of the wireless market.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing RF product and IP development for TX/RX wireless modules
  • Working with Marketing and customers to define product specifications and requirements
  • Helping conduct architecture studies and feasibility simulations
  • Ensuring use of latest simulation methodologies
  • Hiring, mentoring, and training new team members
  • Providing status updates to senior management
  • Travelling to customer sites and other company sites as required

Experience in the below is desired:
  • Working knowledge of RF IC components including Switch/LNA/PAs
  • Semiconductor process technologies such as CMOS, GaAs/Silicon HBT, SOI, BiCMOS
  • Interfacing with customers
  • Leading cross-functional product teams
  • Wireless communications standards knowledge such as Wi-Fi or LTE
  • RF simulation tools including ADS, Cadence, and EM tools
  • Leading product development including designing and simulating RF components
