Job Description

• Perform analytical testing of various attributes of materials used in the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals and therapeutics. Materials range from pure chemical compounds to complex biological components.


• Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic,spectrometric, potentiometric, gravimetricand electrophoreticequipment, as well as perform a variety of immunochemical assays, wet chemistry, and colligative and physical attribute testing.


• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department


• Prepare standards and samples for analysis


• Document work as required for GMP compliance


• Perform maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications



-Bachelor degree in Chemistry .or equivalent discipline with appropriate directly related experience
-A minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical industry or 2 years of analytical chemistry experience directly relevant to the instrumentation / responsibilities
-Prior experience HPLC and Chromatographic Data System (prefered)

Position is full-time, workingMonday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm,overtime as needed. Candidates currentlyliving within commutable distance to Cary, NCare encouraged to apply.
