Job Title:Non - CDL Driver

Job Summary:

SCA is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to join our team. If you possess excellent and safe driving skills, we're looking for you. In this role, you'll operate Sweeper equipment, conducting daily inspections to ensure safe operation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding safety standards.

 

Location: 5330 Tex-Con Rd, San Antonio, TX 78220

Hours: Monday – Thursday from 6am - 5pm

Rate of Pay: $17 per hour

Job Responsibilities: 

• You will operate Sweeper equipment and be required to inspect them daily to ensure safe operation.


• You must be comfortable with completing work in oncoming traffic. You will have protection by TMA vehicles.


• Duties to include driving a pickup truck, physically picking up debris, and placing in caged bed of truck.


• Clean various highway locations in and surrounding metroplex assigned daily.


• Required to make numerous stops and exiting truck to remove debris/trash from highway shoulders and adjacent edges of highway shoulders.

 

Job Requirements: 

• Valid Driver’s License


• Must obtain a medical card at the company's expense as a condition of employment.


• Good Driving Record


• Ability to pass employment and random drug tests


• Ability to follow directions and read maps


• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally 


• Proper work attire (pants, shirt with short sleeve at a minimum) and work boots
