Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will act as a business partner and be responsible for aligning our HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a high-performing culture, and supporting our workforce.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals
Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, providing guidance on talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, and change management
Lead, mentor, and coach HR team members
Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, ensuring a strong pipeline for critical roles
Oversee onboarding and training programs to enhance employee engagement and retention
Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns
Coach and advise managers on performance management to elevate people outcomes
Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues and talent development to build effective teams
Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
Implement diversity, equity and inclusion programs through genuine interactions and conversations
Partner with Cretex on HR initiatives and strategies by participating in project charters and implementing change in the business
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and communicate change to all employees
Manage the workers compensation and return to work programs
Utilize HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and inform decision-making
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on strategic HR management and employee relations, preferably in a manufacturing or healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and reporting.
Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
