Using the Quality Caring Model, the Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) demonstrates expertise in performance and application of the nursing process to plan and manage the care of patients in the operating room setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.
This role reports to the Director of Surgery.

Responsibilities:
The OR Nurse plans and delivers patient care
Perform scrub functions including selection and handling of instruments and supplies during procedures
Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communication of patient condition
Educate patients and family
Plan continuum of care
What you will need
Required:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program;
BSN required
Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)
At least 1 year of nursing experience in a surgical setting (scrubbing and circulating)
Pay Range: $51 - 56.50
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
