The Partner Recruiting Manager provides firmwide support for lateral partner and of counsel recruiting, onboarding, and orientation, ensuring a best in class candidate experience. The Manager collaborates with firm leadership, the Director of Attorney Recruiting, and the Director of Strategic Growth to ensure partner recruiting processes are operating efficiently and that we are engaging in continuous process improvement.
Drives process improvements to ensure a consistent lateral partner candidate experience across all geographies.
With the Director of Attorney Recruiting, develops metrics to enable effective reporting to firm leadership as well as to measure success of hiring and retention efforts year over year.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external clients, including attorneys and staff, vendors, service providers, ans search firm ecruiters.
Serves as a resource to candidates, sponsors and firm leadership in establishing and communicating a clear and consistent candidate evaluation and recruitment process.
Along with Director of Attorney Recruiting, collaborates with key stakeholders regarding needs and active candidates.
In collaboration with the Director of Attorney Recruiting, executes broad projects for and within the function as well as cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
Develops comprehensive onboarding and orientation plans for incoming lateral partner candidate
Provides vision for partner recruiting-related projects, including data-driven analysis, goals, and measures of success.
Routinely evaluates and refines partner recruiting strategies and processes.
Provide supervision to junior team members.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years' experience in law firm attorney recruiting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Previous experience with partner candidates and attorney recruiting processes required.
Previous supervisory experience across multiple geographies and project management experience preferred.
Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over projects and responsibilities and resolving issues proactively.
Ability to take an assignment from inception to completion with minimal supervision or by following broad guidelines.
Ability to analyze needs and to determine priorities based on business objectives.
Ability to prepare accurate, highly detailed work product.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to apply big picture understanding to strategy and decision making.
Strong training, supervisory, and leadership skills.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
New York, San Francisco salary range: $140k to $175k
Boston salary range: $135k to $168k
