The Partner Recruiting Specialist provides firmwide support for lateral partner and of counsel recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
Cultivate a high touch and inclusive recruiting and onboarding experience that engages and supports lateral partners and of counsel.
Will have primary responsibility for interview schedules, partner candidate diligence, and coordinating and executing the pre arrival, orientation, and onboarding plans through the lateral's first 30 days of hire.
Work independently and with other members of the Attorney Recruiting team to implement diversity plans for partner recruiting that support the Firm's objectives.
Review and screen resumes and applications and conduct due diligence process for lateral partners including review and distribution of lateral partner questionnaires, background checks, and conflicts checks.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients including attorneys, staff, search firms, professional recruiting associations.
Act as ambassador for the Firm in all aspects of attorney recruiting, presenting a consistently professional and positive demeanor.
Prepare for and participate in firmwide recruiting and hiring committee meetings.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Manager and Directors of Business Development to ensure seamless transition between the hiring, onboarding, orientation, integration, and business development planning processes.
Create tailored onboarding and orientation schedules in alignment with the firm's global lateral onboarding curriculum and integration goals.
Utilize existing integration technology platforms like Salesforce to manage lateral partner integration workflow.
Create trainings, quick reference guides, and other miscellaneous reference materials for recruiters to scale a quality onboarding experience.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of lateral recruiting/integration experience, project coordination experience, or other related experience.
Strong technology skills in MS Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with Human Resources systems and relational databases preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside the firm.
Excellent organizational, process, and follow-through skills. Ability to prepare accurate, highly detailed work product.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment demonstrating reliability, dependability and flexibility is essential.
Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently. Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over projects and responsibilities and resolving issues proactively.
Ability to anticipate issues, assess information, and provide responsive solutions.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
New York, San Francisco salary range: $80k to $98k
Boston salary range: $77k to $95k
